What has influenced his life:
My dad died in 2007 from Cancer at the age of 64 (6 months from retirement). Made me realize how short life really is and to enjoy everyday of it to the fullest.
I enjoy alot of outdoor activities including 4 wheeling, hunting, fishing, and trapping.
Essential Paddling Gear:
Wilderness Systems Tsunami (14’), Werner paddles, V8 PFD, and sturdy dry bags to keep all my gear dry.
In his own words:
I’m paddling in memory of my dad, Cecil Stancil and in honor of other family members who are cancer survivors. I’m paddling to help raise awareness and to raise money to go towards cancer research to hopefully find a cure.
