2012 – 2015
My wife and I went to high school together in a small farming community outside of Charleston, Missouri. We married in 1965 (married 47 years now) and had two sons. We have lived in Linden, NC for the past 35 years.
I have a History and PE degree from Murray State University in Kentucky and I received my masters in Social Studies and Education from Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC.
I spent 28 years in the Army with tours in Vietnam, Korea, Africa, the Middle East and Alaska before retiring as a Lt. Colonel. Then I spent 15 years as a teacher of Social Studies at 71st High School in Fayetteville, NC. Currently in retirement for a second time, I volunteer at my church and I am the Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 157 in Erwin, NC.
